About

the artist

Daryl Uhrin, originally from Windsor, Ontario, is making a remarkable comeback to the music scene with his latest work, "Everybody's Side Project." His musical journey began in the early 2000s, where he was the lead vocalist and keyboardist for Amid Morning Sky, and later became the lead singer, synth, and keyboard player for We Were Thane. His experiences in Windsor solidified his passion for music and performance. However, he took a 15-year hiatus from the music world to focus on his career in manufacturing.

In June 2023, now residing in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Daryl embarked on his solo pop punk project, inspired by a significant personal loss. The unfortunate passing of loved ones motivated him to channel his grief into his music, reigniting his deep passion for songwriting and performing.

On July 11th, Daryl is set to release a three-song EP titled “Searching for a Ray of Hope” that embodies the essence of "Everybody's Side Project." Despite typically critical audiences, the project has garnered substantial support, encouraging Daryl to fully commit to this endeavor.

"Everybody's Side Project" symbolizes more than just a musical endeavor for Daryl. It stands as a testament to the transformative power of music and its healing capabilities.
